Tim McLaughlin, known as the "Chairman

 of the Board" of instruments, plays the

guitar, mandolin, violin, pennywhistle, 

harmonica, tarka flute, and vocals.

Savy music fans recognize Tim by his

custom made spinning guitars with Corn

Flakes box graphics that he has built. He

has performed in warm-up bands for Head

East, the legendary Steppenwolf,  Garrison

Keilor, and Ray Stevens.

 

 

 

 

 

                                                               

Tweaking the piano, organ,

guitar,synthesizers, bass, percussion and vocals is Kelly McLaughlin.  Kelly has performed folk music at State College, Pennsylvania and also in

rock bands along the north coast.  She is the cantor (one who leads the singing) at many Wayside Presbyterian Church services. 

 

                                                                                                                                                                     

As a bassist, piano/keyboard player, composer, and vocalist, Derf Hopsecger has performed styles as varied as power-trio rock, jazz, classical, and big band.  He has performed at New York City's legendary Birdland as well as the Chautauqua Institution.  Derf has also sung with the Erie Philharmonic Chorus and Presque Isle Chorale, accompanied The Lettermen and been a vocal soloist in Joe Negris Mass of Hope.  He has composed and recorded the soundtracks for a number of projects at WQLN Television.   

 

 

Scott Twiss began playing the drums at an early age.  He played with bands through junior and senior high school. In the seventies Scott and Tim joined up with the heavy hitting "Quill Eller" and traveled extensively from Chicago, Illinois to Michigan. Scott has accomplished many styles of music having drummed with variety bands "Major League" and "Tennessee Backporch."   He also performed in the eclectic country band "Tumbling Dice."  He has performed in warm-up bands for Head East and the legendary Steppenwolf.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jack Cermak is an extremely talented and versatile musician. He has studied classical guitar at Edinboro University and also plays lead and rhythm electric guitar, bass, and saxophone.    Jack has performed with many top notched bands over the years.  Some of the bands that Jack has performed in are "Character," " the Igniters," " Encore,"  and "Alamo."  He has shared the stage with Peter Nunes of Herman’s Hermits fame and has performed in bands that opened for Head East, Mitch Ryder, Kansas, Jefferson Airplane, and Paul Revere and the Raiders!
